So. I'm back home from Lapland. We had an amazing week there, once again. Highs and lows. Lots of drama and fights but also lots of fun moments and laughter.

Love these pictures. I spent 4 months in Rovaniemi, Lapland, in 2006, but it was during the summer. I would love to see those winter snows, though!
VastaaPoistaI think I've only been in summer-Lapland like...once? When I was a kid. My family likes to ski, so we mostly go there in the winter.
VastaaPoistaI recommend the winter-Lapland! The trees and everything looks so beautiful in winter. We call the snow-covered spruce-trees kynttiläkuusi = candle spruce in Finland. :)
AND I recommend the Icelandic horses also! Even if you've never been on horse-back, it doesn't matter. :) It's a great way to see the "Laplandic" nature as long as you're not allergic :)
