More new music - Sydänpuu!

Ok, so I found another band of Jani Liimatainen (obsessed? nooo...) yesterday and it's called Sydänpuu. Or as last.fm says:
"Sydänpuu is a Finnish rock band from the northern town of Kemi. Risto Koskinen and an unknown artist mysteriously named Allan Anderssén decided to compose a few songs for fun and so the Sydänpuu was formed."

Hautaa minut tänään is my favorite. It's nice to hear Jani sing, and in Finnish! Awesome :)

  1. Oh wow! This blog is about music from Finland! Guess what? Two of my favorite bands are Finland-based: Poets of the Fall (I'm a huge fan of them! Yeah!) and Damn Seagulls.

I fell in love with the music of the Poets of the Fall when I got the Carnival of Rust album, but my favorite album of theirs is actually Revolution Roulette. My favorite song comes from CoR, though: Roses. =]

And the Damn Seagulls... hello, Once Upon a Time!!!

I'm glad I came across your blog. Will be checking out every so often. =]

  2. Hello and welcome!
So cool of you to stop by and comment. You made me smile =)

I'm not much of a fan of PotF, but they're ok. I don't switch the radio station if their song starts to play. =)

I actually don't know Damn Seagulls, but will check them out once I get home.

I do post about loads of bands, Finnish and foreign. But it's always great to meet the fans of Finnish music from other countries. Makes me feel very patriotic ;)
